Dr. Pitcairn graduated from Tuft’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. Prior to attending Tuft’s, she graduated from The University of New Hampshire in 1985 with a Bachelor’s degree in zoology and marine biology.
Dr. Pitcairn’s special areas of interest in veterinary medicine include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and alternative medicine.
She owns two dogs, Zip (a Cairn Terrier) and Avery (her daughter’s 3-legged impish yet charming mixed breed of unknown origin or age). She also has cats Chi Chi, Tiny Tim, and Flipper T. Ernie.

Dr. Rickard graduated from Tuft’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. In 1994, prior to attending Tuft’s, she received a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.
Her areas of interest in veterinary medicine include emergency medicine and oncology. She also enjoys rehabilitation and is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist.
She and her husband are the proud parents of a daughter, Shanley, and a son, Callum. She is pictured here with one of our office cats, “Tank”. She has a bull terrier named Penny and a cat named Erf.

Dr. Comstock joined our team in 2012. She graduated from The University of Massachusetts in 1994 with a Bachelor’s Degree in biology and from Tufts University – School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Her areas of interest in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, preventative care and dentistry.
In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and Puggle Bailey.

Dr. Alexandre graduated from Atlantic Veterinary College at The University of Prince Edward Island in 2016. Prior to attending veterinary school, she received a bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
Her areas of interest in veterinary medicine include preventative care, dermatology, and food animal medicine.
She enjoys reading, biking, running, and spending time with her big Portuguese family and friends. She also enjoys the company of her family dogs- Zoe, Jack, and Remy and her two rabbits- Purkinje and Coconut.

Dr. Luke Bartkus join our team in 2016 after completing a one-year internship in small animal medicine at Colorado State University. Prior to that, he received a Bachelor of Arts with a focus in analytical chemistry from Hampshire Collge in 2009 and his DVM from Oregon State University in 2015. He has an interest in emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, and toxicology.
Outside of work, he enjoys photography, reading non-fiction, skimboarding and spending time with his family on the south shore and Martha’s Vineyard. He also shares his home with his 12-year-old cat, Missy.

Dr. Snow joined our team in 2016. He attended The University of Rhode Island and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science. After graduation, he attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed his clinical year at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine before graduating in 2016.
He has special interests in nutrition, dermatology and exotics, specifically zoo medicine and sea turtles!
He enjoys hiking, skiing, and scuba diving. He has a Golden Retriever named Maddie and Luna the cat who is from the Carribean!
Dr. Stamoulis is a veterinary cardiologist who provides his services to practices in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. He is a graduate of both Brown University and Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine and is board certified in the areas of internal medicine and cardiology.
Once a week, Dr. Stamoulis travels to our hospital to perform ultrasounds on our patients. Along with your pet’s veterinarian, Dr. Stamoulis will make a diagnosis and come up with a treatment plan.
Dr. Clark is a board certified surgeon who provides his services to veterinary hospitals in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Before he began traveling from clinic to clinic, he was employed as the head of surgery at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University.
By working with Dr. Clark, our hospital is able to refer our clients to a board certified surgeon without the need of making a trip to a referral hospital.
Dr. Clark is available to do our more surgically challenging cases. He also does most of our orthopedic surgeries such as cruciate repairs, medial patella luxation repairs, plating broken bones, and plating growth deformities.
Lisa, Office Manager
Lisa joined the Chase Farm team in 2001 as a kennel attendant. Over the years, she’s held a variety of positions in the hospital including an exam room technician and a surgery technician; she is a “Jack of All Trades” and can even fill in as a receptionist.
She graduated from Bristol Community College in 2007 with an Associates Degree in Business Administration and The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership Management.
She is the proud owner of a 16 year old Shih-Tzu named Bubbles and 8 cats!

Betty joined our team in 2004. At work, she enjoys being the calming voice on the other end of the phone and is the comic relief to her co-workers! In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, reading, hiking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, antiquing and going to the beach. She is Mom to two lab mixes (Betsy and Jetty), three cats (Oliver, Andy, and Wally) and Chico the African Grey.
Nina is one of our wonderful receptionists who on occasion also works as a technician! She has been with us since 2006. She has an 11-year-old son named Derek and an 8-year-old son named Kyle. In her free time, she enjoys sightseeing, baking and spending time with her children. Unfortunately, because of her son’s allergies, she is unable to have pets but, working at an animal hospital helps make up for that!
Fun Fact: Nina is our only employee that speaks Portuguese!
Kendra joined our team in 2016. She is a proud Mom to her beagles Lincoln, Bentley and Lexus. In her free time, Kendra enjoys spending time with her family and pups. At work, she loves meeting the newest puppy patients and is know to steal them for photo shoots before their appointments!
Deana joined our team in 2016 and is working towards her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at UMASS Dartmouth. After graduating in 2018 Deana hopes to become a veterinary technician. She is a volunteer at Buttonwood Park Zoo and enjoys reading and playing soccer. She shares her home with her labs, Charlie and Chelsea.

Kat is one of our wonderful technicians and has been with us since 2007. She’s had a passion for working in the veterinary field since she was little and couldn’t imagine doing anything else! She has two sons – Blake and Bryce, two “Italian Chihuahuas,” Bully & Chester and two cats: Roxy and Ember. Her hobbies range from curling up on the couch with a good book to hiking through the state forests with her family and dogs. At work, she has an interest in behavior and training and participates in our puppy classes. She also has a special interest in dental cleanings and the health benefits associated with it.
Alissa is one of our wonderful technicians! She joined our team in 2007 and is currently working towards becoming a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant. At work, she enjoys participating in rehabilitation, underwater treadmill therapy and teaching clients and their new puppies about behavior. She has a German Short Haired Pointer named Nixie, and Dachshund named Rosie, and three cats – Weasley, Mac, and Pepper. As of July 1, 2012 she is also a newlywed!
Stacey is one of our wonderful technicians! She lives in Dartmouth with her husband Tom, son Jackson daughter Haley. She is also Mom to Hunter; a 7 pound terrier mix she adopted from the Humane Society. She has been with us since 2009 and says she has finally found her dream job! Her interests include watching and cheering her children on while they play sports and spending time with her family.
Tiff is one of our technicians and has been with our team since 2006. When she is at work, she enjoys interacting with clients. Beware…she is know as the puppy snatcher and might “steal” your puppy or kitten for a photo shoot! In her spare time, she enjoys camping, outdoor activities and spending time with her five children which include two cats and a Cocker Spaniel mix she rescued from the Humane Society.
Micaela joined our team in 2016 after earning her B.A in Behavioral Neuroscience and her B.S. in Biology from Rhode Island College. At work, Micaela enjoys supporting her teammates and taking care of our feline patients! At home she enjoys playing the piano and singing, reading, art, fairies and rescuing chickens. She is Mom to her cats, Tigger and Mirette, and Sebastian the silky rooster.
Amber joined our team in 2016 after graduating from the Veterinary Health Care program at Bristol Community College. As she continues in her vet tech career, “Mac” is interested in learning more about and participating our canine rehabilitation program. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, playing video games, going for walks with her dog Luca, reading and swimming. In addition to Luna the Shiba Inu, she is also Mom to her cat, Geralt.
Sammantha joined our team in 2015 after graduating with a marketing degree from Gainesville State University and from the Veterinary Technician Assistant program at Massasoit College. At work, her interests include dietary needs and dental disease prevention. When not at work, Sam enjoys spending time with her husband, baking, shopping and collecting Dachshund paraphernalia! She is the proud Mom to Beans the Dachshund, cats Flower, Pepe and Penelope and Siracha, the Beta fish.

Kennel Support Staff
Michelle joined our team in 2009 as a kennel attendant. While at work, she enjoys giving baths, walking and playing with our patients, and assisting the technicians. She is Mom to two cats, Oreo and Junior. In her free time, she enjoys playing darts, camping and riding bicycles.
