Meet Our Staff

Dr. Pitcairn

Dr. Pitcairndrpitcairn@cfvh.com

Dr. Pitcairn graduated from Tuft's University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. Prior to attending Tuft's, she graduated from The University of New Hampshire in 1985 with a Bachelor's degree in zoology and marine biology.

Dr. Pitcairn's special areas of interest in veterinary medicine include acupuncture, chinese herbal medicine, and alternative medicine.

She owns two dogs, Zip (her two year old Cairn Terrier) and Brigham (her thirteen year old yellow Lab). She also has two cats, Chi Chi and Willy.

Dr. Rickard

Dr. Rickard graduated from Tuft's University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. In 1994, prior to attending Tuft's, she received a Bachelor's degree in biology from Duquesne University in Pittsburg, PA.

Her areas of interest in veterinary medicine include emergency medicine and oncology. She has received her certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Therapist.

She is pictured here with one of our office cats, "Tank". She has a bull terrier named Penny and two cats (Sam and Erf).

Dr. Cunningham

Dr Rochette graduated from Atlantic Veterinary College in Canada in 2007 and joined our team shortly after graduation.

Her areas of interest in veterinary medicine include pain management, wound care, and feline medicine.

She is a proud "Mom" to two cats, Teddy and Jinx, a dog named Bradley, and an Australian Cattle Dog named Jack.

Dr. Messina

Dr. Messina graduated from Mississippi State University - College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Prior to attending veterinary school, she received a bachelor's degree in biology from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA.

Her areas of interest in veterinary medicine include opthamology, physical therapy, and behavior. She is excited to learn more about alternative medicine, and plans on becoming certified in acupuncture in the near future.

She and her husband are the proud parents of a mixed breed dog named Brewster.

In her free time, she enjoys running, swimming, rowing, camping, playing the piano, and relaxing on the beach.

Dr. Buche

Dr. Buche graduated from Cornell University - School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990 and joined our team in 2009.  Her areas of interest in veterinary medicine include internal medicine and rehabilitation therapy; she is currently working towards earning her certification as a Canine Rehabilition Therapist. 

 

In her free time, she enjoys swimming, jogging, participating in canine agility and spending time with her children. 

 

Dr. Tiede

Dr. Tiede

Dr. Tiede is our relief doctor. He graduated from The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1973. Prior to attending vet school, he recieved a Bachelor's degree from Tuft's University in 1969.

He provides his relief services to a variety of small animal clinics in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.

Dr. Stamoulis

Dr. Stamoulis

Dr. Stamoulis is a veterinariary cardiologist who provides his services to practices in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. He is a graduate of both Brown University and Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine and is board certified in the areas of internal medicine and cardiology.

Once a week, Dr. Stamoulis travels to our hospital to perform ultrasounds on our patients. Along with your pet's veterinarian, Dr. Stamoulis will make a diagnosis and come up with a treatment plan.

Dr. Clark

Dr. Clark

Dr. Clark is a board certified surgeon who provides his services to veterinary hospitals in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Before he began traveling from clinic to clinic, he was employed as the head of surgery at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University.

By working with Dr. Clark, our hospital is able to refer our clients to a board certified surgeon without the need of making a trip to a referal hospital.

Dr. Clark is available to do our more surgically challenging cases. He also does most of our orthopedic surgeries such as cruciate repairs, medial patella luxation repairs, plating broken bones, and plating growth deformaties.

Lisa Deveau, Office Manager

Lisa joined the Chase Farm team in 2001 as a kennel attendant.  Over the years, she's held a variety of positions in the hospital including an exam room technician and a surgery technician; she is a "Jack of All Trades" and can even fill in as a receptionist.

 

She graduated from Bristol Community College in 2007 with an Associates Degree in Business Administration and is currently working towards earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. 

 

She is the proud owner of a 13 year old Shih Tzu named Bubbles and 7 cats!
